Our in-house laboratory facilities allows us to get same day results for our patients. Often, the results are within 30 minutes. This lets Dr. Hall see what is happening with your pet prior to surgery. While this is our preferred method, we do accept outside blood work when it has been done within the following schedule:

- Less than 6 months required on the day of the procedure: CBC with differential, chemistry panel of at least 15, and electrolytes.
- over 6 months up to 4 years require the following within 1 year: CBC with differential, chemistry panel of at least 15, and electrolytes.
- 4 to 6 years require the following within 6 months: CBC with differential, chemistry panel of at least 15, and electrolytes.
- 7 years and older (dogs over 15 lbs and cats up to 12 years old) require the following within 3 months: CBC with differential, chemistry panel of at least 17, electrolytes, and T4
- Cats 12 years and older OR Dogs 15 lbs or under and 7 years or older require the following within 30 days: CBC with differential, chemistry panel of at least 17, electrolytes, and T4
Please Note: It is your responsibility to provide us a copy of the blood work. However, if it has not been done within the above timeline we are happy to do it the morning of the appointment. In fact, Dr. Hall recommends blood work be done the same day as any procedure involving anesthesia.
We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.
